Easy Food | Chicken Steak

Ok, It's been forever but I'm back with another easy peasy recipe. It was around this time last year I did the Eton Mess one.. oops!

You will need 3 medium sized chicken breast pieces, salt, pepper, (I use low fat greek) yoghurt or half a lime, Oil, Badia Complete Seasoning (or other spice mix of choice) along with a non metal dish, grill or grill pan.

So you start with the marinade and there's two different ingredients you may use as your base, yoghurt or the juice of half a lime. Put that into the non metal dish that you'll be setting your chicken aside in. Metal/Steel dishes give meat a weird taste. Add half a teaspoon salt and pepper, and a heaped teaspoon of the Badia seasoning. Mix together, add your chicken breast making sure to coat well and leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Add some oil to your grill and turn on medium heat. Place your chicken on and leave to cook 5 minutes on each side before turning over. Continue the process until you see the chicken is done. It usually takes me around half an hour total to do this.

When you're done. Serve hot with whatever side you prefer; chips, rice, potato, mixed veg etc.

My Mettalic Lip Longing Satisfied - For £1!

As mentioned in my previous post, Kylie's liquid lippy Heir had me in a frenzy. Particularly this picture caught me in all it's screaming glow. I know the Kardashians are a controversial topic so whatever your opinion, you gotta give it to them, their make up game is strong.

When I searched for swatches of Heir to see if it'd match my skin tone, I discovered it was too pale and there's 90% chance it'll wash me out. I always struggle with liquid lipsticks for that reason. Though I have fair-medium skin, colours don't reflect on me as well so I always have to go deeper than what I see on the tube of a colour I like, maybe it has something to do with the undertones as well as my hyperpigmentation, I don't know...

Look at it. It's SO pretty! Technic lipstick - Cashmere Rose.

This treasure satisfied my needs as the perfect colour to go with my OTT desi outfits in combination with bold but simplistic matte black eyes and glowy bronzed skin. Heir appears to be more nude peach as opposed to this which is a gold coral pink when applied. The light catches it's gold shimmer perfectly and it goes with my skin tone so well. I picked mine up for a pound at my local bodycare. I haven't wore it properly so wouldn't know how long lasting it is and you know what? I don't even care, I like it that much. Plus I can always combat that by putting it on top of a similarly coloured or nude liquid lipstick whilst it hasn't fully dried to get it to stick well.

I also came across some 'DIY Heir' Material. In a blog post the Milani mettalic liquid lipsticks were used and for the rest, people were just tapping champagne coloured pigment on top of other matte liquid lipsticks. I guess the latter is good if you get in there before it dries properly so I'll be giving that a go too, just to play around and see if there's any other similar yet different shades I can create.
